What do you want people to see in you?

In a world full of # and stereotypes, the generation has lost its identity and has started following blindly these stereotypes.  The question does not lie here as to what the society sees in you? Rather the existential question is what do you want people to see in you? The path of earning a name based on so many categories does not contain your parents and friends telling you how to behave and how to be. In fact, it is a long journey towards self-discovery. Let’s embark on the journey together.

My potential

We human beings are said to be super intelligent and yet we make the mistake of putting ourselves down.  By looking at us from the perspective of someone else we fail to recognize our own potential? What are we capable of can be judged by no one else but one own self. So first find out what your capabilities are and then work towards them.

My strengths

I am strong or timid, is for me to know. The society has no right to judge you based on your behavior. The circumstances and the situations that led up to the juncture of your actions is known to you and only you. Thus you need to point out your own strengths and weaknesses so that the strengths shine bright like diamonds in the sky and the weaknesses can be worked upon to turn them into strengths.

My behavior

The behavior of a person defines the character. “Oh she is polite girl, she must be a good person” but is it the reality? “He agrees to everything his parent say, must be a parent’s pet” these kinds of stereotypes are what degrades the person. Why categorize a person?  Every situation deems a different approach and a reaction. The behavior is not the mirror of these reactions.

My looks

I am a tomboy at heart and yet I like to dress up in beautiful dresses! Why to tag me as a particular type. I look good and yet i want to dress down because I don’t want people to look at me for my looks. Similarly if a man is dressed nicely he is immediately named a stud or a player, he might be just shy or a combination. The looks are deceiving and it does not define the way that boy is. Move away from vanity and be lot more.

My mind

Now, this is a major factor that influences the opinion. If you would not look at my picture below this article, would you still enjoy reading it and share it with others? I hope the answer is yes because looks, clothes and everything else fades away. We all strive to be a better person at whatever we decide to do. Each day we all wish to see ourselves successful because of no other factor but my mind that is able to produce the best version of myself and my work.

This is where the journey to find answer ends and the journey of self-discovery begins. Chose how you would want people to see you. The power is still in your hands and no one else can take that away from you.

  2. Generic article we can relate it with everyone because what people want to see or seek from other they will just seek those things for that particular time and change their thought process . But now it’s important what we make ourselves and how we present ourselves .
