The world is moving at a fast pace and it is challenging to match with it. Born in 1980, I could see my cousins moving abroad while I chose to stay in India. I used to always tell them at that time, one day you all will be back. That sounded impossible but now after so many years, they are all having greater feelings towards India and are considering coming back. Our country is now the land of opportunity.
It brings about choices for both me and my son. He first wanted to be an astronaut, then later shifted to geology. Now he is preparing for UPSC. These sudden changes due to choices is something which is bothering me recently.
Earlier I used to go to an office, but after the switch for better opportunities, it is now work from home. That has divided my attention. I cannot plan and focus while staying home but the comforts that work from home provides me is addictive. That is also something on my mind.
AI is affecting everything around us. Since I like to keep myself updated, learning new AI tools is a priority. Giving importance to myself is a priority.
