When you are motivated, you have focus! You have a goal to achieve and thus it becomes your passion to do whatever it takes to reach that. Why get motivation from someone outside? Why not drive yourself to that extent that you are self-motivated?
Rasshmi Goel is having the time of her life, not because she has free time, but she worked hard enough to reach this point where she can enjoy the fruits of her hard work.
Tupperware
It all starts from home. When a friend suggested the Tupperware products, hesitatingly purchasing the lunch box for the husband seems trivial. But the reaction was very unexpected. The quality of the product made place in the household and slowly took over the business mind as well.
Having a huge friend circle and an art institute has some benefits. Add to that the convincing power and you get yourself some very good sales number.
Manager Post
A halt came when reaching the manager’s post, where the sales had to go up and fieldwork was much required. But here the self-motivation kicks in where self-convincing and wanting to reach a certain level is so strong that everything else fails.
“I could not take a pause” – Rasshmi Goel decided and there was no stopping her.
Incentives
The materialistic incentives are on one side but when the incentive is to achieve the target which has been set by self, that intrinsic motivation is such a huge driving force. During the various meetings, seeing someone else win the accolades does not cause jealousy but a madness to reach to that level, to do that well to be able to achieve all that for yourself is what drives Rasshmi. It is a great learning for everyone that seeing someone be successful should make you want to do more for yourself without feeling any angst about someone else. “U matter for Yourself”
Faith takes you a long way
Having faith in yourself and the brand and having good enough standing improves the face value. Knowing in depth about the product, not just what is written in the brochure motivates to be where one wants to be. Demonstration, features and the benefits of the product is the way to be on top of things.
Do it well, Nothing Mediocre
Being the only woman in the family who had a foreign trip free of cost, that was earned because of her hard work is a thing of pride. Eyes on the prize was what made this Idea super great for Rasshmi Goel. Even when the drive to ban the plastic took place, explaining to the customers that Tupperware brand is not single use plastic and that the drive is not linked with the plastic grain that is for life, made things back to normal again.
Rasshmi’s business idea is nothing out of the box but being highly motivated and to have the focus to do well in the chosen field is motivational.

During the lockdown I learned on-line baking from my own daughter and made 100 plus cakes. There is no age to learning something new. It was not so difficult, one day I just made up my mind and then there was no stopping me. I believe every person is capable of doing things, even if they are difficult. It is only the beginning that seems impossible. But once you make a habit of taking on things as they are, you can achieve almost anything. This is going to be my mantra for everyone.
