But the origin of Labour Day is connected to a protest held by workers on 1 May 1886 at the Haymarket in Chicago. Police tried to disperse a peaceful protest after unknown people exploded a bomb. It led to the death and injury of many workers and policemen. International Workers Day is celebrate every year all over the world as a tribute to the workers. 01 May is a holiday but this year is exceptional times. World economy is at its greatest peril. Once again, the wheels of the world will begin moving once again at the capable hands of our workers.

Workers are usually represented by the hammer and farmers by the sickle reminiscent of the industrial age. Today we are in a networked environment where we have workers sitting in cubicles and cabins in front of their computers. Others are mobile and connected to the cloud. They are new age workers driving the economy through information technology and services.
