Recently we met a tarot card reader who ends up conducting lengthy sessions. Let us understand what Tarotaanvi is about and why she likes to go into details.
Q. What sets Tarotaanvi apart from other tarot card readers?
Ans. My life journey has been about masti, happiness and trying to understand things better. Answers cannot be sought superficially. My nature is to explore things in depth.
During my childhood like all things around me, tarot cards filled my up with curiosity. During my free time, I used to check out articles and videos. My turning point came with the news of the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput which made me explore the mysticism of cards even more. Finally I decided to take the plunge and learn.
Though I cannot give you a pin point answer why am I different, here are the main reasons. I like to talk and be with people spreading smiles and happiness. So it is a second nature to me to solve problems of other people. A tendency to help and be a problem solver. Connect that with my passion for Tarot card reading completes the circle. But there is another force at work here too, the teachings and blessings of my Guruji. Spirituality is an important part of my being. It teaches me to search for the root cause of a problem. Every problem has a solution, it is there to be found. A reading for me not about the money but to get to the source of the problem and solve it.
We all share a conscious. Making others problems mine gives me the will power to reach the solution. It gives me satisfaction and happiness to solve the puzzle to achieve completion.
Q. Explain what is role of social media in modern times and mysticism?
Ans. Like all other parents, mine too wanted my to take up a regular job. But lockdown came as an opportunity to me to explore online courses. Since there was no recruitment, even my parents backed off waiting for the lockdown to get over and opening of economy. After pursuing a few course, I realised my true calling is tarot cards. I began with spreading the word on WhatsApp and few clients but it was my first customers who popularised me.
My next big leap was social media. Times have changed. Earlier we had a different concept of spirituality and mysticism. A fusion of technology and talent, social media is a medium to reach out to people. What began as a platform for interaction and entertainment, social media is where everyone is today. Concept of divinity remains the same, only the space has changed.
Let’s take the best example of changed space. People have a predefined perception of how a spiritual guru should dress up and look. Today when people see a woman wearing a modern dress as a tarot card reader there are raised eyebrows. But mostly all accept it as a sign of changing times.
Public demand today is variety. The concept is similar to that of a pyramid. At the base are people who represent variety. These people seek a spiritual guru, a person with whom they find a connect, matched frequency. All people who are part of the pyramid aim to reach the light at the top. They want to ascend to the top and a guru is the one who leads them there. So there will be many people who will not agree with my style to reaching the depth. They will find resonance with other gurus out there. But there will be others who would match with my frequency and choose me as the path to ascend.
