Roop Vedaa is a product basket that takes pride in being a full range of organic beauty goods that actually work. It all began with just a suggestion.
Initial Phase
Craft has always been an area of interest and Roopa still creates many handcrafted products for home decoration. She had a knack of reading articles on beauty. Due to the keenness to learn something more, she came in touch with Nidhi Gupta of Likhavat Academy. Here she learnt calligraphy from her to enhance her artistic side. But what came to notice was her beautiful glowing skin. Everyone in the academy wanted to know the secret.
An Idea was conceived
The very thought of being appreciated for homemade skin care goods is a big compliment. Thus, the idea came into being that such products can be created which actually work. It was a small step that gave birth to the brand – ROOP VEDAA.
The Birth
Roop Vedaa came into being within a few nights. A new platform was launched where women who had a business can network and promote their work. When the platform was offered, Roopa Gupta had nada in her hand just a few courses that she took that related to beauty products. In a matter of a couple of nights she fashioned the name of her products from her own name- ROOP(A) and created small gift kits to take to the first meeting.
The instant hit
During the meeting these kits which were packed in simple jars was such a huge hit that orders started pouring in. The only drawback was the packaging. And over a few months even this hurdle was crossed when Roopa worked on the packaging. The perfect product now had a beautiful packaging too. The quality and looks both are important for any idea to sell.
Today Roop Vedaa has many clients which are because of the way the products are created and packaged. The crafter in her is still alive with special hamper packing at no extra cost. It’s a huge step for a housewife who had no confidence to a businesswoman who made a name not for herself but a standing of her own.
