We, human beings are always faced with some adversity all the time. A life that runs smooth is no life at all; we all need some adventure to stir things up. But the scale of adversities and how we deal with it is what we all need to learn. Trying times don’t last long!
You may be in a high demanding job, a soldier or even a doctor trying to save lives every day, it is essential to keep the mind at ease and calm. I have noticed it many times that if the mind is not at ease, the entire body go haywire and people around your relationships start getting affected by it. And the turbulent times occupying the mind is essential.
Today the world is going through a tough time, the coronavirus Pandemic has scared the shit out of everyone and for a few people it is harder than for the rest of the world. Been in the lockdown for some time now and mind start creates creating scenarios and everything starts to get on the nerves and may be this is what is happening all over the world right now. In this case there are various things you could do to help you get through this bad phase.
You are not alone
The trying times are with everyone. But if you start to believe that everything is happening with you alone then it would bring you even more down. It is the basic human tendency that we do not want people whom we love to get involved to spare them of the pain. Thinking you are alone and internalizing the problem would not solve it. Share your problems; talk it out with whom you trust. There are support groups, counselors and family members who can help you calm down.
Accept the present
Accept that you are facing a problem. Accepting is the first step while on the road to feeling better. Then you need to accept that situations are out your control. Certain things may take its own sweet time to resolve. Thus letting things be is the only solution for the time being.
Focus on positivity
Being positive is the only way to be! Put on some music, meditate and do some workout they help you to remain positive. Breathe in positivity and breath out your botheration, anxiety and be positive.
Gather your belongings
Look around yourself. You have people who love you and everything to live your life happily. There is in fact nothing to feel depressed about. Take a deep breath and look inside. Become conscious of your intentions and work on yourself. This is an opportunity to create a better you!
Train not to be afraid
The only thing you need to be scared of is the fear itself. It paralysis you physically and emotionally! Train your brain that there is no danger. When there is no anticipation, the fear subsides.
Spend time with your loved ones
The happy hormones help to fight the anxiety in the troubled times. Spend time with your family and friends. They’re your support system and would never disappoint you. They give you a secure place to be yourself.
Like good times the turbulent trying times would not last either. This is an opportunity in disguise to sit back and relax a bit. Take life in its stride and let each day reveal itself. We plan and plan and still fail so why not let life take its own pattern and in the meantime enjoy the ride.
