The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act, 2013 mandates the constitution of an Internal Committee (IC) in every organisation for timely redressal of complaints and grievances related to security and well being of women in workplaces. This act for the first time defined sexual harassment. Furthermore, Rule 13(d) makes it compulsory that members of the Internal Committee to be well aware of all definitions, laws, policies and cases. UCG gave the responsibility of PoSH Training to Higher Education Institutions.

Any citizen of India should attend this course to be a responsible member of the republic. Personally I would also like the law enforcement agencies to make it mandatory for all to have at least 50% staff to be PoSH Certified.
