Her introduction says, “I believe in building a world of happiness for ALL”. So we decided to ask Helen happiness centric questions.
What are the three important things a wanna be woman entrepreneur should understand before starting out?
- Know your WHY: Why are you investing time and energy in this? Your why is your driving force – you will have clarity, direction and always be motivated when things get tough.
- You got to stay in your lane. You need to have the inner confidence and ideally inner fulfilment so that you are not so easily distracted by e.g. your personal life, your external environment, social media, other influencers and world events. Many entrepreneurs waste a lot of time trying to live up to expectations that have nothing to do with them.
- This male vs. female stigma female entrepreneurs suffer from is a mental block. Most successful entrepreneurs don’t have time to think about something like this because they are focused on what they are doing. If you come into the game thinking you are at a disadvantage you will have an even tougher time.
How do you define a mental block?
A mental block is a limiting interpretation of information [data]. These interpretations are formed as a result of a limiting mental program most often formed between the time you were in the womb up ’til age 7.
Example: Your mental block could be a fear of failure. You might be doing really well in life, perhaps you are raising a family, started your own business, growing albeit not as fast as you want, yet you wake up each day with an intense fear of failure. This fear or a certain belief you picked up early in life, then becomes a BLOCK because rather than the information coming in a positive way, you interpret it in a negative way, producing negative chemicals, hormones etc. in the blood and this then ultimately sabotages the outcome you desire.
If happiness is at the center of everything, why do we have to look for happiness?
Good question. You know, I think it is important to understand what we mean by the words we use to define these types of things. In my opinion Consciousness is everything and Happiness is a natural state of Consciousness. In my definition of Happiness I say “Happiness is Knowing who and what we are and living from that knowing. It’s our natural state”.
If you know who and what you are you will naturally be happy. So yes, if you know who and what you are, you experience what Consciousness is and you don’t have to look for happiness, because you realise it is part of who you are.
